How I Simplified Play With Mess-Free Activity Ideas

The Secret to Saving Your Ink (and your wallet)

Let’s get one thing straight: I don’t hate my printer. In fact, we’ve had some great times together! As a mom of three girls (ages six, four, and one), printables have been a staple in our house for the past four years, and I’m in love with the variety, the creativity, and the instant gratification of a new activity (even my kids do). But if you’re a “printable mom” like me, you know the hidden struggle of the ink running out fast or the printer jamming, or realizing you’re out of supplies just when you need a mess-free activity to keep the peace. it’s annoying to say the least.

And let’s not even talk about the price of replacement cartridges lately (I use HP, and their prices don’t smile); it’s practically a luxury expense! I find myself constantly checking ink levels and wondering if I really want to use up the last of the coloured ink, and sometimes, I’m not even sure. I realised I needed a way to keep the activities flowing without the constant “printing process.”

I remember giving a couple of working-mom friends of mine one of my first digital products to try out for them. I was so excited for them to use the activities with their kids and give me feedback, but weeks went by, and nothing. As a full-time working mom, I know that the simple act of printing out that many pages can feel completely overwhelming, and while they had every intention of trying out the activities and TRULY wanted to, they just couldn’t find the time to make the logistics work.

So this got me thinking: What if the activities were already in a ready-made book? Would that have made things less stressful for them? Maybe, if they had held a physical book in their hands, all they would have needed to do was tear out the page their kids wanted and hand it over without worrying about printing out anything.

My Solution: The All-in-One “Grab-and-Go” Book

That realisation, plus my love-hate relationship with my printer, is exactly why I turned my best work into a physical book. I wanted to create a “grab-and-go” solution that works for the mom who is short on time but big on heart, and I decided to take the very best activities I’ve created for my kids, over 80 of them and compile them into one professional, high-quality book.

I made this for my girls first because I wanted to be able to reach into a drawer and give them a Play-Doh mat, a cutting exercise, or a count-and-dot page without having to turn on the computer, check the paper tray, or troubleshoot a Wi-Fi connection.

Why This is a Game-Changer for Your Budget

By turning these activities into a physical book available on Amazon, I’ve found a way to make life easier and more cost-effective for moms like me.

Save on Ink & Paper: For the price of one ink refill, you can have over 80 activities ready to go. No more “toner low” mid-activity!
Tear-and-Use: Every page is ready to be used. If we’re heading out the door, I just tear out what we need for the car or the restaurant.
No More Loose Paper Chaos: Instead of a stack of sliding pages on the dining table, everything is organised in one place until you’re ready to use it.

Tested by My Girls, Made for Yours

This book wasn’t designed in a boardroom; it was designed by me in the middle of breastfeeding my baby and trying to keep my bigger girls occupied with something other than Gabby’s dollhouse. And because I have a six-year-old, a four-year-old, and a one-year-old, I needed activities that spanned a range of skill levels. Whether it’s fine motor practice for the little ones or a more detailed butterfly craft for my oldest, this book covers the bases.

Join My “Stress-Free” Movement

I’m so excited to finally share this with other moms, so if you love the value of printables but are tired of the cost and the “work” that comes with printing them one by one, this book is for you. It’s my favourite way to support my family while helping yours find a little more ease in the day.

You get to keep your ink for the important stuff, and your kids get 80+ ways to stay busy and creative, so you see, it’s a win-win. So, if you’re ready to stop the printing cycle and start playing?
