The other day, my kids and I made the cutest spring flower craft, and honestly, it turned into one of those simple moments that remind me why I love crafting with them so much. This easy paper flower wreath craft is an absolute favourite in our house, and the best part is that it’s a cute craft that your child can actually complete and proudly wear. I designed the autumn flower templates myself, so all you need to do is print, cut, and glue. And, I promise that when you’re done, your kids will be obsessed.

I’ve tried a lot of crafts with my kids, and the ones that work best are the ones that are the ones that are simple, colourful, and easy to personalise. That’s what makes this spring flower wreath such a favourite.
This printable gives kids the freedom to either:
- Use the pre-coloured flowers
- or colour their own wreath using the black and white template
- It can be used as a birthday crown for the celebrant or a party crown for all the little birthday guests
- Your kids can wear it around the house and enjoy a little fairy pretend play with their siblings
- You can talk about different flowers and their colours as you glue and stick the petals around the paper plate
Either way, your kids will feel proud because they’re creating something completely their own.
How to Make the Spring Flower Wreath
- Print the wreath template
- Cut out the flowers from the printable
- Cut the centre out of a paper plate to make a wreath base
- Let your kids glue the flowers around the plate
- Attach the colourful strips at the bottom, behind the plate
- Place the crown on your child’s head and watch them light up. My kids couldn’t stop twirling around once theirs were finished.
