How To Make Toilet Paper Roll Flower Stamps

Looking for a fun, low-mess, and super affordable craft to do with your preschooler? These toilet paper roll flower stamps are a total winner! They’re quick to set up, great for little hands, and turn simple supplies into beautiful, colourful flower art. It’s the perfect spring or summer craft—and honestly, it’s one of those activities that’s just as fun for grown-ups, too.

What You’ll Need:

  • Empty toilet paper rolls (the more the better!)
  • White paper
  • Glue
  • Washable paint (assorted colours)
  • A paint tray or a paper plate for paint
  • Green marker
  • Buttons, pom-poms, or stickers (for the flower centres)
  • Scissors

How to Make Flower Stamps:

Step 1: Shape the Stamps

Take your empty toilet paper rolls and gently press or cut the ends into flower-like shapes. You can pinch them into petal shapes, fold them into hearts, or snip them to make fringed edges. Make several different shapes for a variety of flower designs!

Step 2: Add Paint to a Tray

Squeeze different colours of paint onto a plate or paint tray.

Step 3: Start Stamping!

Dip the shaped end of each toilet paper roll into the paint and stamp it onto the white paper. Repeat with different shapes and colours to create a beautiful flower garden on the page.

Step 4: Add Stems and Centres

Use a green marker to draw stems and leaves. Then, glue a pom-pom, button, or sticker in the centre of each flower for an extra pop of texture and colour.

Step 5: Let It Dry

Once your child is happy with their masterpiece, set it aside to dry, and admire their blooming creativity!
