Let’s Dive In
1. Flatten the Toilet Paper Rolls
Gently flatten each toilet paper roll with your thumbs and fingers.

2. Cut a Triangle into the Sides
Cut a triangle shape out of one side of each toilet paper roll.

3. Shape the Top of the Roll
Cut the top right corners of the paper rolls and trim off part of the sides to soften the shape and make the “wings” look more natural.

4. Place the Wings on the Body
Take a popsicle stick (this is the butterfly’s body!) and glue the paper roll pieces on either side of it.

5. Time to Paint!
Paint the butterfly wings however you like with paint markers, stripes, dots.

6. Add the Eyes & Antennae,
Glue the googly eyes near the top of the popsicle stick. Then, curl a pipe cleaner into antennae and glue it right above the eyes.
